Outdoor Ethics Training Course Offerings

Outdoor Ethics and Leave No Trace are key components of all of the core BSA outdoor training programs such as NYLT and NAYLE for Boy Scouts and Venturers and in the IOLS and Wood Badge training for adults.  The Outdoor Ethics training program consists of a training hierarchy which builds upon one another for increased knowledge and skills development.

The specialized courses listed below provide more advanced awareness and skills training in order to develop youth and adults capable of effectively teaching these important outdoor skills and ethics beyond the guide level.

Listed below are the courses that the Outdoor Ethics Training team currently have scheduled.  LNT Trainer courses are offered twice a year in the Spring and again in the Fall.  CurrentIy, the Tread Trainer course is offered once a year in the Winter/Spring.  If you do not see a course that you want to take, please use the interest form to contact us about future course offerings.  Course registration will open 90-120 days prior to the course date and registration information can be found on the Occoneechee Council calendar.
